New River Brands was founded in the fall of 2022 with one goal -- to preserve the history and legacy of some of Appalachia's most beloved brands, including Blue Smoke Salsa.

Our goal is to share the proud heritage of our family of brands with fans both old and new throughout Appalachia and the rest of the country that we are so proud to call home.

Blue Smoke Salsa

Founded in 1993 by Robin Hildebrand in her Fayette County, West Virginia home, Blue Smoke Salsa is now - thirty years later - the flagship brand for the New River Brands team.

Having brought Robin back to the brand she started as a consultant and brand ambassador, New River Brands has restored Robin's orginial recipes and made a commitment to honor her promise to Blue Smoke Salsa's customers to make a delicious small batch salsa using fresh, healthy, natural ingredients.

Copperhead Bloody Mary Mix

Copperhead Bloody Mary Mix was created by Greg and Veronica Stover as part of their Appalachian Mountain Specialty Foods brand in Spencer, West Virginia. 

This award winning Bloody Mary Mix combines tomato and lime juice with special spices and horseradish for just the perfect "bite" that you will want to experience again and again.

Bluegrass Gourmet BBQ Sauce

When Jim Gilbert began crafting the recipes that would ultimately become Bluegrass Gourmet BBQ Sauces, he strived to flavors that would represent the different characteristics of American barbecue…the smokiness of Kansas City…the sweetness of Kansas City…the spiciness of Texas…and the tartness of Carolina.

The awards, accolades, and loyal following of satisfied customers that followed served as evidence that Jim achieved his goal with his unique sauces that are the perfect complement to a wide variety of smoked or grilled meats.

We are proud to carry on the rich tradition of Bluegrass Gourmet BBQ Sauce that Jim began in Summersville, West Virginia many years ago.

Yoder's Country Kettle

Founded by Kevin Yoder in 1992, Yoder's Country Kettle has become a favorite amongst West Virginia customers who love the small batch goodness of a variety of jams, pickled products, honey, and apple butter.

New River Brands is proud to carry on the over thirty year legacy of this Appalachian staple.

At Appalachian Provisions, we take great pride in making products that capture the essence of Appalachian traditions and cuisine. We use simple, wholesome ingredients to create recipes that our great grandmothers would have been proud of serving.

This word is at the heart of everything we do and the reason we started Three Oh Four Fundraisers. We are proud of our home in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains, and we want to do our part to see our state and her people thrive.

Three Oh Four Fundraisers gives schools, sports teams, churches, and other groups the opportunity to raise money for their organizations by working with West Virginia based brands like Blue Smoke Salsa, Oliverio Peppers, Yoder's Country Kettle and others.
